pune metropolis police remaining monday arrested an online fraudster who cheated about two hundred folks in maharashtra thru an commercial on facebook, promising on the spot loans of rs 1 lakh to rs 5 lakh in hours.
police, for the duration of the research, have determined that the accused vitthal babu jarande, 33, resident of uruli devachi and local of osmanabad, have cheated ‘clients’ to the song of rs 7 lakh through charging them a ‘processing price’.
a court remanded him in police custody till friday.

“jarande used to invite the ‘customers’ to forward him their aadhaar card, pan card, and different documents on his whatsapp variety, together with rs five,000 closer to processing charges and commission. after receiving the cash, he blocked the clients on his cellphone,” a police professional said.
